We’d like to introduce you to our only remote team member, Oksana. Based in Kiev, Ukraine Oksana works as a reservations manager. She began working with Valesa in July 2022 and since then has been an integral part of the team.
Oksana was born and raised in Kiev, and she adores her home country. Winter is her favorite season (she is not a fan of warm weather!). Some of her hobbies include reading and she thoroughly enjoys the snow. When asked about her favorite Ukrainian dish, she said that she loves all soups, but her favorite is definitely borscht. This traditional sour soup is usually made from beets, but Oksana mentioned that you can also make it with other vegetables like cabbage or potatoes, making it the perfect comfort food.
Although she is based abroad, Oksana has been to Spain & Portugal several times. She has already visited Madrid, Barcelona, Azores & Mallorca, and she really loves the country and the people here. Nevertheless, her bucket list destination is still the Basque Country. She is fascinated by northern Spain, and it is her dream to visit this unique region.
Oksana’s favorite thing about working at Valesa are her colleagues. She truly feels included as part of the team, which is very important when working remotely. She says that her coworkers have been incredibly helpful, kind and understanding since day one. We love having her on the team and are grateful for Oksana’s wonderful dedication.
