Meet Nicole, our kind and creative colleague! She’s been part of the Valesa team for just over a year, and like many of us, she has a unique story that intertwines Spanish and American culture.
Originally from Connecticut, Nicole moved to Spain after college to teach English. As she explored the country and built new friendships, she fell in love with Spanish culture—and decided to make it her home. She now lives in Galicia, in northern Spain, and serves as our Marketing and Social Media Manager.
With a degree in Spanish and marketing and a passion for languages, Nicole started her career as an English teacher before transitioning into the tourism industry. She worked as an international account manager for a major hotel group before eventually finding her way to Valesa, where she’s never been happier! What she loves most about her work is the warm, welcoming spirit of her coworkers and the opportunity to learn something new each day.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, reading, watching documentaries, and of course, traveling! No matter where she goes, her favorite way to experience a new place is by diving into its most authentic local cuisine.
