This month we are highlighting our wonderful customer service manager, Vero! Working with Valesa for about 3 years, and her experience and skills are invaluable assets to the team. Born to an American father and a Spanish mother, Vero spent the first few years of her life living in the US before coming to settle down with her family in Pamplona, Spain.
Vero studied journalism and worked in a variety of sectors before ending up at Valesa. She was a secretary at a law firm, an English teacher, and even worked in real estate though she always knew she wanted to work in tourism. In Madrid, she obtained a Master’s degree in tourism and then worked in London, after which she met Marcy and the rest is history!
During her time at Valesa, she mastered all the necessary skills and is now successfully creating the best itineraries for her clients. She’s a natural-born saleswoman with a kind spirit who fits perfectly into our team. What she loves about working at Valesa is the teamwork and camaraderie. We are a small team, always helping one another in our daily tasks. Valesa offers a dynamic work environment where every day is unique and different, something that Vero truly enjoys.
Of course she is well-travelled, too! Vero has travelled extensively throughout Spain and Portugal, but the destinations still on her bucket list include Galicia in northwestern Spain and the Alentejo and Algarve regions in southern Portugal. She loves to take her time and enjoy 1-2 weeks wherever she travels in order to really get to know each place.
