How does Valesa work?

You can send us your request by email or through our website, and we are also happy to hear from you by phone. First, our Luxury Travel Managers require some information in order to proceed with your request. Once you have answered our initial questions about the clients, dates, number of people, hotel taste, budget, and special interests, that is when we get creative and we will send you an outline of what we suggest for your client. Next, you can approve or make changes before we finalize your tailored proposal.

How long will it take to prepare my proposal?

We respond to initial inquiries within 1-2 business days. Once we have all your information, we can make and send you the proposal within the same week or the following one, depending on arrival dates.

How do my clients receive their documents?

First, we send all documents by email after we receive your deposit. Next, when clients arrive at their first hotel, they will receive a lovely welcome folder with the most updated version of their itinerary, train or plane tickets, local contact phone numbers, other tickets, restaurant and shopping lists, maps and interesting articles too.

Do you handle plane and train tickets, as well as rental cars?

Yes, always when booked as part of a package.

Do you handle villas?

No, although occasionally there are a few high budget ones that we trust, as well as occasional apartments. This is not our strength, but you can ask us. Later we can assist you with touring/transport needs once you have rented the property.

Can you accommodate my client’s hotel requests?

This is a good question. We take pride in the hotels that we offer! Marcy is a graduate of the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, and half of our team are ex-hoteliers. We focus on a few, top hotels and have a particular way of working with them that allows you the best experience. We work with 4* and 5* properties only. The tour always goes most smoothly when everything including the hotel is arranged within the package. Nevertheless, we are happy to arrange your package without hotels.


Note: we no longer handle hotel and transfer only requests.

Do you have a minimum spend policy?

The minimum spend is 2,500 euros.

Do you sell spaces in group tours?

No, we create private group tours for private clients.

Do you quote net or gross? In Euros or Dollars?

We usually quote net in euros since it is our most competitive pricing for you, and all our costs are paid in euros. We are happy to convert euros into a dollars estimate, however we do not guarantee the exchange rate.

Do you provide price breakdowns?

No, we don’t. Our package pricing allows us to include confidential tariffs negotiated with suppliers.

Can I find all of your services online?

No, as our proposals are each tailor-made to your client specifications, budget, and special interests, we design a tailored program just for them privately.

How can I pay you?

We offer the following payment options: Visa, MasterCard, Amex or bank wire via online Flywire payment link that we send to you.

What is your standard payment & cancellation policy?

Payment:
400 euro deposit + cost of non-refundable tickets for confirmed itinerary.
Final payment is due 60 days prior to arrival.


Cancellation:
All deposits are non-refundable upon receipt, as well as prearranged non-refundable services.


Group policies are different and created separately.

How can I reach you?

We have a 24-hour telephone number for clients traveling in Spain, Portugal, France or Morocco. For travel advisors working in the US and Canada, we offer a toll free 800 # during our office hours, Mon-Fri 10:00 am to 7:00 pm in Madrid (GMT+1).

Do you make restaurant reservations?

Of course. Once your clients’ services are confirmed, we are happy to suggest and reserve a table at any restaurant. A credit card may be required.

How far is the airport from the city?

In all of our destinations, the airport is typically 20-30 min away by taxi.

Can you arrange special amenities?

Yes, Valesa can arrange amenities at most properties. Ask us!

Do you charge any extra fees?

For multiple proposals: we can provide up to 3 proposals, and then we require deposit to proceed further.


For last minute requests: additional services requested within 15 days of arrival will carry a rush fee. We charge 25€ for each restaurant reservation or 50€ for each additional service requested.
