Say hello to Miriam, our finance whiz with a passion for adventure! Originally from Málaga, she began her academic journey with a degree in Business Management. While she wasn’t sure which business path to take at first, her love for math and problem-solving set the tone early on. Then came three years in London, where she went to sharpen her English and unexpectedly fell in love with the tourism world.
Back in Spain, she blended business with her newfound passion by earning a Master’s in International Tourism Management in Madrid. Miriam’s career path has been as dynamic as she is—working in a rental car company, a travel agency, and even a tax firm to round out her customer service (and tax knowledge!) skills.
Now at Valesa, Miriam keeps our finances sailing smoothly—managing payments, tracking cash flows, and creating financial reports. But it’s not just spreadsheets and numbers that keep her smiling. She loves the teamwork, the support from her wonderful boss Yolanda, and our team trips that bring the whole Valesa crew closer together.
When she’s not working, you’ll find her snowboarding, hiking, or crafting gorgeous travel journals filled with photos, tickets, doodles, and memories. Miriam, your thoughtfulness and generosity are so appreciated. What would we do without you!
